It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Calloway Pitts (Claremore, Oklahoma), who passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Leota Faye Pitts (Fielden); his wife June Pitts; his daughter Debbie Pitts; his father Paul Pitts; and his brother Billy Pitts.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Kay (Bill Chapman) and DeeDee Ann (Chris Teehee); his granddaughters, Kim Chapman, Haley (Riley Bressie) and Paige Lutz; his great grandchildren, Kaycen Bressie and Lela Bressie; and his brother Wayne Pitts (Donna).
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rice Funeral Service (631 E Will Rogers Blvd, Claremore, OK 74017). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
