He was predeceased by: his parents, Butler Welch and Agnes Novella Welch. He is survived by: his wife Julie Welch; his children, John Welch II (Rachel Welch), Misty Eppler (Justin Eppler) and Jacob Welch; and his grandchildren, Dillon Hubbard, Brooks Eppler, Jaxson Welch, Kanaan Schaller and Alexis Johnston.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the MMS-Payne Funeral Home and Cremation Services-Claremore (102 W 5th St, Claremore, OK 74017). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
