In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Joyce Dean had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Joyce Dean may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred McClellan and Melba McClellan (Bates); her husband Mack Rainwater; and her brother Billy McClellan. She is survived by: her children, Acie Davis (Kristin) of Oklahoma City, Gregg Davis (Kellie) of Inola, Rusty Vann (Kim) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Deana Hollihan (John) of Owasso, Bobbie Pettey (Curtis) of Collinsville and Sherry Crumpton (Rex) of Claremore, Oklahoma; and her sister Carolyn Stricklen of Locust Grove, Oklahoma. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service (1204 NE 1st St, Pryor, OK 74361). A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Graham Memorial Cemetery (1664 NE 1st St, Pryor, OK 74361).
