She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Schmitz and Waneta Schmitz; her sister-in-law Alma Schmitz; her nephew Dan Schmitz; and her great-nephew Adam Schmitz.

She is survived by: her siblings, Dick Schmitz of Tulsa and Gretchen Schmitz of Claremore; her nephews, Paul Schmitz (Janet) of Broken Arrow, Mike Schmitz (Sarah) of Okmulgee and Tim Schmitz of Tulsa; and her niece-in-law Kay Schmitz (late Dan Schmitz) of Tulsa. She is also survived by three grandnieces, five grandnephews, two great- grandnephews and one great-grandniece.
