He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl McLaughlin and Billie McLaughlin (Mears); and his niece Cari Lynn Hick. He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Harris (Jerry), Barbara Thompson (Steve) and Jerry McLaughlin (Josefina).
