He was predeceased by: his mother Wanda Floyd; his sister Cindy Floyd; and his grandson Randy Kessler, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Paula Floyd; his children, Brenda (Vince), Stephanie (Dustin), Tammy (Nathan), Brian, Alysson (Matthew) and Ben; and his brother Randy Floyd. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Research and Murray Road Missionary Baptist Church Children's Fund.
