He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann Stearns; his parents, Chesley Stearns and Freeda Stearns; his grandson Jay; and his siblings, Ruth Reynolds, Ralph, Donald and Ray Stearns.
He is survived by: his children, Steve (Stacey) and Susan Couch (Jeff); his granddaughters, Shea Casey, Shelby Rooney, Brooke Cochran, Kendall Shepherd and Evann Couch; his great grandchildren, Reese, Rory and Reagan Casey; and his granddaughters, Ava, Harper, Scarlett Rooney and Blair Shepherd.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the MMS-Payne Funeral Home and Cremation Services-Claremore (102 W 5th St, Claremore, OK 74017). A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at the Rest Haven Cemetery (1609 W 103rd St N, Sperry, OK 74073).
