It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonja Kathleen Parker in Claremore, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 1, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Sonja Kathleen departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sonja Kathleen. Though Sonja Kathleen may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James B. Hurley and Monta C. Hurley; her daughter Linda Cooper Wallace; her husband Clyde Parker; and her daughter-in-law Deborah Purcell Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Vicky Cooper Benedict (Shelton) and Elmer D. Roberts, Jr. (Tania); her grandsons, Dillon C. Roberts (Morgyn) and Austin D. Roberts (Kelsi Lawrence); her great grandchild Presley Rose; and her close friend Francis Jones. She is also survived by cats and dogs.
