He was predeceased by: his parents, Burl J. Young and Pauline J. Young (Wall); his wife Geneva Young (Garveston); his stepson William Ashford, Jr.; his son Jerry R. "Peanut" Young, Jr. (Courtney) of Tulsa; his stepchildren, Bob Ashford (Chotsy) of Houston, TX and Jody Crossland (Joe) of Afton; his grandchildren, Ky Young (Kylee), Zane Young (Shelbee Christie), Cooper Gibson (Lilly Lamb) and Ty Young (Erica Straight); his stepgrandchildren, Bobby, Melissa, Justin, Grant and Josh; his great grandchild Cayson Young; and his pets, Jelly and Bentley.
