He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Armstrong and Eunice Armstrong (Bate). He is survived by: his wife Dixie Goold Armstrong; his son Richard Aaron Armstong; and his sister Monreen Hersh of Ozark. He is also survived by two nieces and three nephews.
