He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Marvin, Florence Cox, Wilbert and Bertha Miller. He is survived by: his parents, James Cox and Nora Cox; his son Christopher W "Marvin" Cox; his grandson Asher Blake Cox; his siblings, Jerome (Kim Cox) and Jennifer (Ryan Ward); his nieces and nephews, Briauna Cox, Haley Cox, Megan Cox, Jerome "Bubba" Cox, Colten Ward and Kylee Ward; and his great-nephew Johnny Grimes III. He is also survived by his brother, sissy, son and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home (108 W Delaware St, Cleveland, OK 74020). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church - Cleveland (100 S Division St, Cleveland, OK 74020).
