It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Eileen Hooper of Cleveland, Oklahoma, born in Pawnee, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Evelyn farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Evelyn is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Blachard and Geneva Blachard (Tatum); her husband Paul Hooper; her daughter Sherie Daniels; and her brother Merle Blanchard.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Hooper of Jennings, Larry Hooper of Cleveland and Terri Hassell of Linden, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Maddie, Jeffery, Elizabeth and Willie. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Woodland Cemetery Chapel.
