It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Thomas Shelton (Cleveland, Oklahoma), born in Drumright, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 27, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Theodore Shelton and Nellie Shelton (Madewell); his siblings, Theodore Shelton, Jr., Dean Shelton, Brady Shelton, Bill Shelton, Danny Shelton, Georgia Thornbrue, Kaydell Ryker and Harold Lee Shelton; and his children, Mike, Marvin Shelton and Tammy Walls.

He is survived by : his wife Linda Davidson; and his grandchildren, Russell Elledge of Cleveland, Lucas Elledge of Covington, Jesse Elledge of Cleveland, Thomas Shelton, Amber Shelton and Keisha Shelton. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
