He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Richard and Georgia Belle Besser (Gibbons); and his sister Georgia Owens. He is survived by: his wife Deloris Kathleen (Bailey); his children, Carrie Christensen and Darrell Besser; and his grandchildren, Cyrus Christensen, Matthew Besser, Tytus Christensen, Zachery Besser and Tre Christensen. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Book Hotel Besser Home (433 S Blacksmith Rd, Cleveland, OK 74020).
