He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Meyer and Nita Joan Meyer (Billingsley); and his sister-in-law Glenda Huddleston. He is survived by : his wife Cleda Ida Keeling; his son Kyle Deatherage, Jr. (Stephanie) of Cleveland; his sister Alice Williams of Sapulpa; and his nieces, Susan Elliott and Carie Williams (John Elliott). He is also survived by many friends and other relatives.

“The loss of Terry is so tragic, no one would have thought his health had gotten this bad. He very seldom had doctor appointments therefore this happened out of the blue it wasn't like we knew his time was short the time we had was wonderful our friendship was the best I have ever had with anyone 💙 I ask for prayers to heal the broken hearts 💕 God please lift Cleda's pain they were such a great couple I never heard either one complaining or arguing I love you Cleda keep your head up I'm so s”
