He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Cleveland Shepherd and Mattie "Spencer" Shepherd; and his siblings, Jim Shepherd, Dorothy Goodall, Lorene Paris, Essie Roush, Carl Shepherd of Roy Shepherd, R. B and Maxine Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Shepherd; his children, Chris Shepherd (Kim) of Lookeba, Oklahoma and Sandra Baldwin (Rusty) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.; his grandchildren, Colby Shepherd, Kara Dougherty (Ryan), Lance Baldwin (Olivia) and Kayla McIntosh (Tyler); and his great grandchildren, Blakely, Eden, Rosalia, Margo, Mateo and Ryker. He is also survived by numerous extended family members, dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Lee Funeral Home (2500 W Modelle Ave, Clinton, OK 73601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Freewill Baptist Church (700 N 13th St, Clinton, OK 73601). A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the Butler Cemetery N 2130 Rd.
