We announce the death of Darmond Wayne Hunter of Clinton, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 26, 2026, at the age of 66. Darmond will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Hunter and Mildred O'weata Hunter (Trench); his brother Terry Hunter; his nephew Terry "Bubby" Hunter; his great-niece Monica Martinez; his nephew Gregory Hunter; and his sister-in-law Karen Hunter.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Hunter (Summer) of Clinton, Kasie Hunter of Clinton and Amanda Pacheco (Joe) of Ada, Oklahoma; his siblings, Judy Russell (Keith) of Jacksonville, Florida and Harold Hunter of Clinton; his sister-in-law Shirley Hunter of Clinton; and his grandchildren, Morgan Barton, Makia Musick, Evan Hunter, Claire Pacheco, Kaisan Thompson, Lyrik Hunter and Sebastian Pacheco. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and a host of dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM and on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lee's Hometown Funeral Home (1217 W Gary Blvd, Clinton, OK 73601). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM. A burial will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Clinton Cemetery (900 W Commerce Rd, Clinton, OK 73601).
