With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Louise Gunter of Clinton, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 5, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan B. Sharum and Lida Mae Sharum (Tidwell); her husband Barney Olson Gunter; and her son-in-law Monty Brinkley. She is survived by: her children, Linda Hoffman of Canute, Rita Brinkley of Canute, Oklahoma and Larry Gunter (Yolanda) of Berlin, Oklahoma; and her grandchildren, Duston Hoffman (Krissy) of Canute, Christina Hoffman of Canute, Monica Brinkley (Lonnie Gunter), Mandy Gunter of Coweta, Chase Stevens of Yukon, Wiley Boone Gunter (Laray) of Stroud, Jennifer Gunter of Stroud and Erin Stevens of Burns Flat, Oklahoma. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
