He was predeceased by : his parents, Vernon Everette and Pauline Estelle Whitney (Johnson); his wife Louise Simmons; and his son Foster Leroy Whitney. He is survived by : his friend Vernon Barnes; his children, Vernon Whitney (Mary) of Clinton and Angela Pearson (Dennis) of Dacoma; his siblings, Lowell Whitney (George) of Waynoka, John Whitney (Jane) of Angleton, Texas and Janice Earhart (Howard) of Waynoka; his grandchildren, Jessica Hanks (Randy) of Waynoka, Karlea Irvin (Ryan) of Mutual, Sharise Whitney of Norman, Nieva Whitney of Edmond, Kayde Whitney of Stillwater, Myra Whitney of Clinton and Everette Thomas Whitney of Clinton; and his great grandchildren, Waylon Hanks, Oliver and Bennett Irvin. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
