He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thiessen and Omega Thiessen (Williams); and his half-sister Poincette Tate. He is survived by: his sisters, Aleta Rae Wells (J. R.) of Anadarko, Oklahoma, Jo Lynn Mohammad (AA Mohammad) of Edmond, Oklahoma and Johnetta Waldrop of Clinton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
