John Deck Travis Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 15, 2026, at the age of 94, John Deck Travis of Clinton, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Elbert Travis and Selma Travis (Sigle); his son Johnny Don Travis; his sister Ruth Ann; and his stepson Glenn Watson.

He is survived by: his children, Deck Travis (Linda) of Conway, Arkansas and D'Lese Travis of Weatherford; his stepdaughter Sharon Watson-White (Wiley) of Norman; the mother of his children LuElla Lingenfelter of Conway; his brother-in-law Randal Gauger; his grandchildren, J. Dillon Green (Amanda) and Emily Travis-Hahn (Matt); his stepgrandson Chris Watson; his great grandchildren, Mad'lynn "Maddy" Green, JD Green, Asher Hahn and Lilah Hahn; and his cousins, Larry Goyer (Carol) and Gary Goyer (Shelah).

The family has suggested memorial contributions may be made to Chapel Hill Methodist Church c/o 22854 E.1040.
