He is survived by: his father John Elder; his siblings, Peggy Alexander (Geoffrey), Kathy Laurents (Fred) and Doyle Elder (Jo Lynn); his aunts, Sandy Schimmels Johnson (Ron) and Lois Schimmels; his nieces, Gina Landrum, Kylie Parrish, Kelsey Grounds, Halli Elder and Hanna Elder; and his pet Penny Collins.
