It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mildred Lea Hernandez of Coalgate, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 108, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Mildred Lea shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mildred Lea farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Homer and Nora Elverda Sharp (Brewer). She is survived by: her husband Jesus Toboda Hernandez; her granddaughters, Michele Goracke (Randall) of Bells, TX and Laura Dodd of California; her daughter Gretta Dodd; her grandson Byron Dodd; her great grandchild Johnathan Cerra; and her siblings, Jewel Morgan, Mark Benton Sharp and Robert Sharp. She is also survived by 2 great grandsons; 5 great great grandchildren; one great great great grandson; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Green Meadows Cemetery.
