He is survived by: his wife June Reanae Childers (Ham) of Colbert; his children, Sarah Lopes (Sean) of Colbert, Zackry Childers (Kelsey Magill) of Brooklyn and Rachel Childers of Calera; his siblings' children, Jessica Hall (Jeremy) of Stroudsburg, Zoie Merritt of Antlers, Paul Glass (Kathleen) of Atlanta, Chris Childers of Antlers and Jacob Merritt of Antlers; his family Kameron Dunn of Austin; his siblings, Kirk Childers (Renee) of Rattan and Mandy Childers of Antlers; his stepmother Linda Childers of Antlers; his stepbrother Danny LeFlore of Cloudy; and his grandchildren, Lorien Hall of Stroudsburg, Finley, Nora and Lincoln Lopes of Colbert.
The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, please donate to Murray Hill Baptist Church to support the church's work with the J127 Ministry in aiding children that have aged out of foster care.
