She was predeceased by: her parents, Caswell Miles Stockard and Ebba Fredrika Stockard; her husband Adrian Light; and her siblings, Caswell Stockard and Alice Anderson.

She is survived by: her daughter Mary Jane Smith (Calvin Dickerson); her grandchildren, Russell Smith (Maria) and Christopher Smith (Candi); her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Justin, Zach, Zoe, Byron and Matthew; and her great great grandchild Jasper.
