We are sad to announce that on June 27, 2025, at the age of 82, John Henry Davis Sr. of Coleman, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John Henry may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Davis and Alice Davis (Black); and his former wives, Nelda Jean Drinnon and Nelda Davis. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Sue Davis; his children, Panilee Crane, Melba Rowlan, Jeanie Elkins and John Henry Davis Jr.; his siblings, George Davis (Ona), Ramond Davis (Margaret) and Ruby Putnam; and his grandchild Jaci Blue (Phillip). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
