He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Irene (Dilbeck) and Clyde Cecil Barron; his siblings, Helen Shores, Wendell Barron, Neil Barron (Goldie) and Mildred Erickson (Glen); his niece Vickie Manning; his nephews, Jerry Shores and Jimmy Shores; and his siblings-in-law, Clyde Garner and Linda Barron.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Niki Willis; his son Matt Barron; and his siblings, Hazel Garner of Bells, Betty Jo Snow (Sonny) of Pilot Point, Texas and Rex Barron of Durant, Oklahoma. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, as well as other extended family.
