He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindsey Gaines and Zella Gaines; his siblings, Marlin, Stanley and Mona Jean; his daughters, Sharen Johnston and Elizabeth Wall; and his great great grandchild Slade.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his daughters, Helen Todd of Bella Vista, AR and Maureen Satterfield (Dennis) of Collinsville; his son-in-law Donnie Johnston of Collinsville; and his brother Raymond Gaines (Ruby) of Bristow. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 32 Great-Grandchildren, and 6 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
