He is survived by: his wife Jean Deaton; his children, Jeffery Deaton, James Deaton (Julie), Karina Stapleton (Dennis), Andrea Pratt and Matthew Deaton (Theresa); and his siblings, Nelli Varvel, Dorothy Schmidt, Ann Baugh, George Deaton and John Deaton. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
