We are sad to announce that, on January 15, 2026, at the age of 26, Matthew Blake Downing of Collinsville, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Matthew farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Matthew is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He is survived by: his parents, Caren Sue and Paul Dave Downing; his wife Casey Quinn Downing; and his siblings, Emily Dawn Downing and Andrew Kyle Downing.

In honor of Matthew's legacy and his passion for Museum Studies, the family kindly requests that donations be made in his name to "The Museum Broken Arrow".
