He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Swihart; his children, Shanna Prochaska (Nick), Kyle Butterbaugh (Amber) and Joey Fitzgerald; and his siblings, Craig Butterbaugh (Rhonda), Mike Butterbaugh, Sheryl Veal (Ed) and Jane Hogan (Tim).
