We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Billy Michael Bates (Comanche, Oklahoma), born in Fort Bliss, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Joe and Julia Ann Bates (Judy Franklin); and his friend Ricky Eugene Miller. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his son Conrad (Melissa) of Edmond, OK; his brother Dale Bates (Jill) of Waurika; his nieces, Kristi Bates Hall (Bo) of Duncan, OK and Ashley Zurel (Joshua) of Oklahoma City; his uncle Jimmy Don Bates (Sherry) of Duncan; and his cousins, Irving and Addington. He is also survived by his family, his church family.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dudley Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Irving Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to Irving Baptist Church, KMOC, Charis Center, or the Ryan or Waurika Ministerial Alliance.
