He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry S. Davis and Elizabeth Davis (Warren); his son Jefferson Hondo; and his granddaughter Maddie Grace. He is survived by: his wife Linda Davis; and his children, Micah (Heather), Jeremy (Jennifer), Jessika (Justin) and Daniel II (Qing). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
