We are sad to announce that, on February 6, 2026, at the age of 94, Johnnie Charles Clanton of Copan, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Clanton and Velma Clanton (Short); his wife Janet; and his siblings, Jimmy Clanton, Vergie Martin-Fair, Margie Carver, Ruth Carter, Mary Warren and Jane Todd.
He is survived by: his daughter Judy Forth (Rick) of Copan; his grandchildren, Shannon Perrier (Keven) of Bartlesville and Travis Forth of Copan; his great grandchildren, Hunter Perrier, Jaycie Perrier, Jesse Forth and Greyston Forth; and his siblings-in-law, Leon Warren, Treva Murray (David), Doyle Hayes (Jane), Roy Noblitt, Sue Decker, Sue Hayes and Marla Hayes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be sent in remembrance to Guest Home Estates, earmarked for Activities, 400 S McGee, Caney, KS 67333.
