Lois Laverne Lundy Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois Laverne Lundy of Cordell, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2026 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Chambers and Thelma Chambers; her husbands, Ben Holman and Loyd Lundy; her stepsons, Larry Lundy and Leroy Lundy; her daughter Brenda; her son-in-law Russ Messenger; her granddaughter Kelli Messenger; and her siblings, Glennis Meeks (Cleo), Oleta Yarbrough (Alton), Jake Chambers (Juanita), Royce Chambers (Minnie Pearl) and Kenneth Chambers.

She is survived by: her sons, Larry Dawson (Jeri), Randy Holman (Gretchen) and Scott Holman (Lisa). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, along with a multitude of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Laverne's name to Calvary Baptist Church of Cordell, Oklahoma.
