She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Gilbert and Eliza Tilta Gilbert (Wise); her husband Johnny F. Hughes; her brothers, Bob Gilbert and Ernie Gilbert; and her nephews, Bennie Gilbert and Andrew Hughes.
She is survived by: her son Brian Hughes (Sarah) of Coweta, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Megan Summers (Ethan), Austin Rodgers (Kayla), Bodey Farbro and Alycia; her great grandchildren, Brylin, Zander, Khale, Roman and Bria; her sister Joyce Drain of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and her siblings-in-law, Bob and Denette Hughes. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ursday Brown's Funeral Service (210 S Broadway, Coweta, OK 74429). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the New Home Free Will Baptist Church (10442 S 257th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74014). A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the Vernon Cemetery (14827 S 305th E Ave, Coweta, OK 74429).
