With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnnie Benge (Coweta, Oklahoma), who passed away on February 14, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Johnnie leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Johnnie may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Benge and Lora Benge; his wife Charlotte; his brother Joe; his sister-in-law Mary Benge; and his daughter Laura.

He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Herring (Jerry); and his grandchildren, Quinton Bailey (Serena) of Tulsa, OK, Diamond Bailey (Daniel Roy) of Oklahoma City, OK and Miranda Herring of Coweta, OK.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation on behalf of Raymond.
