He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Eugene and Josie Wanda Vaughn (Dice); his wife Ruth J. Vaughn; and his siblings, Earl "Buck" Cope, Laverne Lewis and Christine Madewell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Eunice Jordan, Velma Swarer, Jenice Swarer and J. W. Vaughn (Francis); and his brother-in-law Bob Lewis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
