Bettye will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Banks and Louise Banks; her husband Roy Nowell; her daughter Carol Sue; and her brothers, Bobby Dee and Jimmy Lee Banks.
She is survived by: her son Larry (Anna); and her grandchildren, Brent Nowell and Shannon Justice. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and 7 step grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Crescent First Baptist Church (220 S Grand, Crescent, OK 73028).
