We announce the death of Richard Tubbs of Crescent, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 29, 2026, at the age of 84. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Tubbs and Winnie Tubbs; his siblings, Bill Tubbs, June Christy and Thelma Vance; and his grandson Nick Channel.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Tubbs; his daughters, Rhonda Dunn and Kelly Byers; his grandchildren, Nathan Channel (Jennifer), Landon Dunn (Lauren), Kelcey Dunn, Faith and Nicole Renner; his great grandchildren, Koltyn Dunn, Liam Dunn and Norah Cook; and his brothers, Earl Tubbs and Buddy Tubbs.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Crosspointe Church (122 N Broadway Ave, Crescent, OK 73028).
