She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer W Platt and Genevieve F Platt (Chambers); her husband Jerry Spurrier; and her brother Arthur J Platt. She is survived by: her daughters, Denise (Jason Whittenberg) and Deene Spurrier; and her granddaughter Tabitha Spurrier (Vera Doughty).
Her wishes were for any memorials to be sent to St Jude's to benefit the children.
