He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Gene Barnes and Martha Lucille Barnes (Rowan); his sister Susan Lay; and his grandsons, Calvin and Chase Casteel.
He is survived by: his significant other Joyce Barnes (Vaught); his brother Donald Barnes (Linda) of Cromwell; and his children, Michael D. Barnes of Kellyville, Clifford E. Barnes (Sheila) of Kellyville, Lonnie Barnes of Kellyville, Stacey Born (Robert) of Collinsville and Ashley Cooper (Robert) of Little, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home (301 N 3rd St, Okemah, OK 74859).
