He is survived by: his wife Karen Davis; his sons, Marshal Thompson and Matthew Whiteman (Francis); his siblings, Chuck Thompson (Vivian) and Betty Carlile (Kenneth); and his cousins, Aletha and Chuck Pruner. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
