He is survived by: his children, Diann Short of Cushing and Terry Day of Cushing; and his grandchildren, Tracy Stultz (Wayne), Brandi Boutwell (Heath), Darren Day, Jeremy Day (Rebecca), Troy Day, Ronnie Day, Shannon Day, Tanya Estep (Steve), Randy Day, Shaunda Boynton (Nicholas), Michael Haymes, Michelle Haymes, Lisa Marriott and Jessica Moss. He is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren; 29 great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home (402 E Broadway St, Cushing, OK 74023). Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davis Family Center. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Crossway Church (1214 E North St, Cushing, OK 74023).
