He is survived by: his wife Charlene Wood; his children, Niki Wood-Myers and Kristi Link (Landon); his brothers, Rick Wood (Karen) and Joe Wood; and his grandchildren, Josh Myers (Cassidy), Dawson Myers (Mariah), Keegan Myers, Macy Link, Hannah-Beth Chapman (Ben), Hagan Myers, Jackson Link, Harrison Wood (Kailee), Lane Wood, Max Wood, Dylan Link, Jayden Link and Drew Wood.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (2238 E Main St, Cushing, OK 74023).

“Kenny is my treasured nephew! I am the sister of his dad Valton. From his earliest years, Kenny and I shared a bond that remained very special and so dear. I live in California and though our visits may at times be years apart, Kenny and I were so comfortable together that it is almost a mystery how that could be. I love his family and pray that Charlene, Niki, Kristi and J.R. will feel God's loving comfort in the days to come. He was a special man! So dearly loved. So sadly missed. God bless.”
