He was predeceased by : his parents, Dan Ray and Minnie Ray; his grandson Raymond Lilly; his siblings, Ed Shelton, Pauline Walton, Jean Clift, Jane Smith and Jim Ray; and his niece Nancy Moore.

He is survived by : his wife Linda Joyce Ray; his son Todd Ray; his daughter-in-law Sarah; his daughter Loretta Foust; his son-in-law Darin; his grandchildren, Randi, Zoe, Micah, Destiny and Charity; and his nieces and nephews, Myra Burrows, Linda Pruit (William), Earl Walton, Leslie Walton, Karen Cravens (Randy), Danny Huddleston, Rick Mitchell (Karen), Buster Walker (Kim), Dale Ray (Roxy), Angela McKay (Kirk), Taffy Rigsby (Chad) and Tim Davis (Bonnie). He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
