He was predeceased by : his father Henry LaNoy; his children, Terry Wayne LaNoy and Patricia Diane Ellett; and his siblings, Clarance LaNoy, Ruby Holt and Rachel Dickinson.

He is survived by : his wife Thelma Lee "Dolly" Buckaloo; his children, Debra Roe and Rickey LaNoy of Davis; and his grandchildren, Shawn Ratchford (Melissa), Rosemary Palmer (Matthew), Amy Bloodworth (Terry), Ricky Paul Ellett (Crystal), Mandy Fisher-Reed (Shawn) and Terry LaNoy (Cara). He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
