He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Irving and Mary Louise Moore (Adams); his grandmother Donna Mae Williams; and his siblings, Donna Kennedy and Dwayne Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Walker; his children, Tina Stack (Robert), Meredith Carter (Kevin), James Moore, II and Wendell Moore (Trish); and his sister Kathy Potts. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
