We announce the death of Royce Dale Jones of Davis, Oklahoma, born in Cherry Valley, Arkansas, who passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 93. Royce will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his daughter Marita Jones Carver (Rick); and his siblings, Christine Boydston (Hudson) and Don Jones (Norma). He is survived by: his wife Juanita Jones; his son Stan Jones (Daleen); his grandchildren, Rachel Thomas (Dan), Mackenzie Jones, Hunter Jones, Cooper Jones and Colten Carver; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Ethan and Isaac Thomas; and his siblings, Wanda Watson-Webb (Don), Doris Jones, Brenda McCurry (Jon), Fran Garrison and Richard "Dick" Jones.

Viewing was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Hale's Funeral Homes - Davis (202 S 4th St, Davis, OK 73030). Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (208 S 3rd St, Davis, OK 73030).
