He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Morris and Juanita Morris; his grandparents, John, Paralea Bausman, Earl and Mabel Morris; and his sister Jo Lea Turner.

He is survived by: his cousin Jamie; his wife Janice; his son Joe (Debbie); his stepsons, Jeff (Angie), David and Patrick; his sisters, Karla Morris, Jane DeGiusti (Rick) and Dee Ann Ridley (Billy); and his siblings-in-law, Doug Turner, Carolyn and Martha Sue. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren.
